Life in Mustard!

We have mentioned a lot about our exciting travel weekends but what about during the week when we were living in Dijon? So here is the scoop, family and friends...

We lived in the dorms at the public university and took about a 30 minute commute by bus everyday to the private Burgundy School of Business (Groupe ESC Dijon Bourgogne). Our bus route to and from school passed by a former duke's palace everyday!

On average, our school days were about 8 hours long, which took a while for us to get used to. Luckily our lunch breaks were about an hour long. We either ate at the school's cafeteria or went out and explored Dijon, looking for new and different places to eat. Every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday was a fun treat because it is Market Day in Dijon. Locals come into downtown Dijon and set up stands selling food, fresh produce, clothes, and other special knick-knacks.
Well that is a brief sum up of what our weekdays were like in Dijon. We wish we had more time to explore Dijon while we were in France but we enjoyed and made the most of our stay!
